14,700 square metres, and all of it yours
The plot stretches all the way from the mountain behind the house down to the water's edge. We have created different outdoor areas for you to live in the landscape. Right next to the house you'll find our sheltered outdoor living room with fireplace — perfect for long evenings with a great view, and for shelter when the Arctic wind blows. Down by the water, the dock has its own outdoor kitchen, made for preparing today's catch. Pull up a chair and stay for the midnight sun in summer, or the northern lights dancing across the winter sky. Behind the house, a small path leads you further up to two benches with an even wider panorama — sea stretching out on both sides. All of it private. All of it yours.

Sand, directly in front of the house
The beach runs along the front of the property, with the sauna standing at the water's edge and the fjord straight ahead. Swipe along the sand.

Three sides of the boathouse
Chairs you can move around, a dining bench for outdoor dinners. An outdoor kitchen for gutting today's catch. And a fire pit with a great view of the mountains.

Dinner at the dock
Dine outdoors at the dock. Down by our private beach, right at the water's edge, you will find a table for slow breakfasts, barbecues or a glass of wine. Completely private, completely quiet — just you, the fjord, and the mountains.

Roofed, for when the weather turns
The fire bowl in the middle, and the view down to the beach — quiet and cosy.

Fire bowls, with Volandstind across the fjord
Fire bowls on the property, one of them down by the water — lit at blue hour, in January, and on summer evenings.

Path up to the aurora benches
Away from the house lights, facing the open sky, with views to both sides of the ocean.

The aurora, from the doorstep
No need to chase it! At Casa Lofoten, the northern lights come to you. From September to April, you step outside our door, look up, and the sky dances. Green, pink, violet — reflecting in the sea right in front of the house. This is Lofoten at its most magical.

The same five hours, twice a year

The plot has its regulars
The same bird comes back to nest here every spring, and now and then a golden eagle lands on the beach.
“Arctic terns feed immediately in front of the house. Lots of passing duck, with ducklings and a heron sighted.”
