Good to know before you book
- Minimum stay: usually 3 nights; it varies by season and is shown in the calendar.
- Payment: 50% when you book, and the remaining 50% one week before arrival.
- Cancellation: cancel up to 30 days before arrival for a full refund. If you cancel between 30 and 7 days before arrival, we keep the first payment (50%) and the second is never charged. Within 7 days of arrival there is no refund.
- Security deposit: a pre-authorisation of NOK 2,000 is held on your card one day before arrival and released five days after departure.
- Pets: not allowed.

What the price is actually for
You are not renting rooms; you are renting the whole place. The house with two kitchens and two floors, the sauna in the boathouse, the beach with no one else on it, the dock, the fire shelter, the benches on the hill, and free Type 2 EV charging — all included, for up to eight people. Divided by eight, a night here costs a fraction of what the flights did — and it is the part of the trip you will actually remember.
